I am testing the bloGTK linux desktop publighing tool in order to see if I can use it from my newly aquired notebook that has Ubuntu Linux installed (my choice).
It seems it works, though, unlike w.bloggar, which is the best desktop blogging tool (unfortunately with no version for Linux, but only for Windows), it has a problem with getting the categories, hence forcing me to post drafts and publishing the posts from the dashboard (a thing I would have wanted to avoid).
More, custom tags aren’t yet working (or I am not able to make them work).
All and all, this is my first post from Linux and I have to say, it will become as smooth as my WindowsXP installed desktop.
