Sunny London
It sounds strange, I know, but London was so sunny today I actually got sunburnt on… my head. I walked all over the center, along with Vlad, which also took the pictures you can see here.
I visited the tourist attractions (rrriiiight!!! just walked by them): Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Palace, Millennium Bridge, London Eye, Trafalgar Square a.s.o.
I also visited the Science Museum and saw my first ever IMAX movie. That was really fun :) I would have been in love with such a place when I was a kid. And it was full of kids there.
Also met with superblogger Al Carlton from SelfMadeMinds and Coolest Gadgets. Nice fellow, too little time to talk :) Next time, maybe in Bucharest :)
So, night clubs (checked), English pub (checked), tourist attractions (checked – some of them), London underground (checked – “Mind the gap!”). I also got a request to smile from a beautiful girl. And so I did :) Anything else to do?
London is, as expected, an interesting place. So many different people and races, I think I will be quite bored by the same type of people around me in Bucharest when I get back :)
My head is still spinning from “Look right, look left, look right again, just to be on the safe side”, after almost getting a free ride on the grill of a double-decker.

It was a pleasure to meet you Bobby, it’s a shame we didn’t have more time. I hope you enjoy your remaining time in London, if you get a chance see a show, after meeting your good self we went to see Wicked and it was exactly that.
Next time Bucharest, I’d certainly be up for that :)

Baietii care nu au bani, dar le place sa lase impresia ca au bani isi fac poze cu gramezi de bani, sa vada lumea ce barosani sunt ei. Baietii care nu au femeii cand prind ocazia se trag in poza cu o femeie, ca cine stie cand mai prind ei ocazie ca asta. Baietii care isi fac poze cu un Hummer, Lamborghini sau alte masini pe care nu le vor avea in 9 vieti ….
Iar aici ce avem ? Pe cineva care incearca cu tot dinadinsul sa creeze o iluzie …ca si baietii despre care vorbeam.
Concluzia este ca …persoanele care stiu ce au, si sunt constiente de valoarea lor nu fac lucruri de genul asta.

@AFaith: more expensive than Bucharest. At least in absolute terms. I went with the tube and paid 4 pounds one way, ie.
scump ca dracu, dar merita vizitat. merita turul ala cu doubledeckerul, nu atat ca te plimba, dar ca mijloc de transport intre chestiile de vizitat, imi pare rau ca n-am vazut British Museum cand am fost.
Super nice. Frumos la Londra in perioada aceasta a anului.
AH ! Am si eu o poza in acelas loc (prima poza) numai ca acum mult timp … vreo 8 ani. Pacat ca nu mai gasesc poza sa o comparam … cred ca erau multe diferente.
Ai fost la Londra.. tare. Însă ce faci tu cu pozele cari ni le arăţi? Ne faci cunoştinţă cu Londra sau te-ai pozat cu toate monumentele să ni te lauzi prin câte locuri ai umblat?!

mai Bobby frumoase poze dar eu cred ca nu stii ce ai vizitat. Cauta pe google care este Millennium Bridge si o sa vezi ca nu e cel de pe care te=ai pozat tu cu London Eye. Eh ce conteaza cati dintre astia care te citesc au fost la Londra? …niste tarani! :))
@Miguel: mea culpa. Eu am intrebat si chiar nu am stat sa ma documentez mai bine (vina mea). Acum, daca stau sa ma gandesc, odata cu asta am si pierdut sansa de a vedea podul, care arata genial in poze :-<

i don’t was in london, but i was in paris few years ago, i can tell you that for me was an extraordinary experience, since then i visit several countries like germany, italy, austria, belgium, bulgaria, and switzerland.I hope the next year to visit greece and england too
Ultimele zile ale anului sunt gata sa treaca prin clepsidra timpului! 2009 este aproape sa-si deschida primele file albe, necunoscute. Va doresc sanatate, bucurii si impliniri!
